Redundancy – Not A Dead End

This programme is funded by the European Social Fund and the Skills Funding Agency for those who are not in work. In order to be eligible for this programme, applicants must also be resident in the UK, aged 18 or over, and legally allowed to work in the UK.

We are having a taster day on Wednesday 1st March between 10 am and 1 pm at the Dress It Forward Training Centre, 2nd Floor, The Investment Centre, Stanley Road, Bootle, Liverpool L20 3EF.  The course will commence the following week and run for a further 8 weeks.

The Self- Employment Programme

This fully funded programme is aimed at those who are out of work
following redundancy or who have retired early and who are
considering starting up their own business

The weekly programme will run  from 1st March to 3rd May,
with a break for Easter and you need to be able to commit to all 9
sessions.  (dates are as follows: (all Weds)  March 1st, 8th, 15th, 22nd, 29th,  April 5th, 19th, 26th, May 3rd and 10th).
• Explore Self-Employment as an option
• Expand on your business ideas
• Examine your entrepreneurial potential
• Engage in workshops and learning
• Experience One to One mentoring

At the end of the programme you will have all the knowledge and
support to take the next step to starting your own business.
If you decide during the course that self-employment is not right for
you, then you will have one-to-one sessions with a mentor to help with
your CV, interview skills and job searching.

To secure a place email  On 1st March we will ask you to bring along the following:

Proof of address
Evidence of unemployment (i.e. benefits letter, redundancy letter)
