Sefton and Liverpool Women in Business

“Inspired to Enterprise”

Sefton & Liverpool Women in Business deliver a proactive and adaptable course women of all ages, looking at individual skills, talents and passions, and how that translates to careers and futures, with emphasis on self employment.  We pay particular attention to the barriers women face that prevent them starting their own business and how that affects their confidence.

The workshops include:

  • Identifying skills and talents, strengths and weaknesses.
  • Raising self confidence, self esteem and aspirations to achieve success.
  • Identifying causes of lack of confidence, and addressing them with positive actions.
  • Identifying barriers women face to self employment.
  • Business basics – from idea to trading and everything in between, understanding what needs to be considered when setting up a business.
  • Planning, researching and starting a business.
  • Writing for success – C.V.’s, application letters and business plans.
  • Presenting and pitching a business idea.
  • Funding a business and finance.
